Arc Raiders manages
Embark’s leader, who admitted that the development team is "way worse" than the community, says Arc Raiders users are downing each other a surprisingly low amount.
arc raiders materials manages to attract a community that isn't purely cutthroat. They can be downright charming at times. Nobody is as impressed by Embark Studios than us, because the team has a greater appetite for blood than we do. Robert Sammelin (art director at Embark) spoke about how the Arc Raiders community was so kind to PCGamer. He explained that they were hoping for a balance where people would be hesitant about their interactions with other players. He then reveals they were influenced by their own behaviour when testing. "I'm sure that we, as developers, are worse at combat than the rest of the community," he says. "We were hoping to see some sort of cooperation. However, seeing how people behave socially at launch and with the devs is uplifting." It's a nice thing. Arc Raiders is a game that rewards players who are uncompromising. You can loot everything the player has collected. You can then watch them collect the item, and then you can take them out to give it back to Speranza. Stats don't support this, but it is a common practice. Sammelin reports that "we got some numbers on how many people were downed by a player and they were surprisingly lower." "But it's also a completely different experience to play with a squad versus solo." "I think that opens up a whole new experience depending on what you do with the game." The murderous robots could be the x-factor. We might not be as bad as multiplayer lobbyists want you to think. Arc Raiders shows that you don't necessarily need toxic players to be successful. This is more valuable than any loot. Arc Raiders appears to have a persistent cheating problem. In fact, it's gotten that bad that Michael 'Shroud' Grzesiek – a former streamer and pro player – is seriously considering leaving the game. Grzesiek, one of Arc Raiders’ loudest and publicist fans, has called on his viewers, who are now entering the Game of Year season, to rally round the extraction-shooter. He previously claimed The Game Awards had been "rigged" by nominating Clair Obscur Expedition 33 12 different times, while Arc Raiders was only given one nomination. Arc Raiders has become a less popular game for the popular streamer. Shroud, his crew and other players die in the recent video 'Arc Raiders's huge problem'. The enemy players appear to have used cheats. Some even admitted it. Grzesiek declared, as the session neared its end: "I don't care. I have five billion. I'm done." "I don't care. I'll be waiting for The Expedition Window, to reset my account. One YouTube commentator stated: "Nothing can kill this game quicker than cheaters who run wild." "The fact that developers of the game don't ban cheaters permanently is a huge oversight," said another. One third of the respondents said: "They should have cheaters face off in their respective lobby." Hear, hear. The FAQ page of Embark Studio says that the team uses a combination of permanent and temporary banning to reflect severity of the Code of Conduct violations. It's unclear how long a cheating suspension might last for first time offenders or how many cheating complaints are needed before a ban is permanently imposed. |
